What do you do on one of the most stressful days of your life? You are scared, but fear is a made-up thing, as we know. Well, try telling it to your mind, which is trained to believe it.
I did that: drove to the hills, walked my walk, smelled the forest—witnessed the fairy-tale it presents, climbed stairs, and swam in the best-smelling, gorgeous swimming hole that sits at the top of the 90-meter waterfall.
I choose love over fear—every second, every minute, every moment.
Fed my body with some good and some naughty.
Told to the cafe owner that the cake she makes is the best caramel slice ever, worth driving for an hour.
Got home in the evening and unexpectedly found some clarity about the scary situation.
Went to bed with a great appreciation in my heart for the day. Asked: How can it get better?
Got it through by not avoiding but Moment by Moment. Made sure the moments were worthy.
Where is your Present? What is the present of your presence?
It’s good to know…or wonder!
