Photo: Could the job be more in the centre of the city than the city hall is?
My robot days have been the most chaotic corporate job so far. Maybe that’s why I loved it. Surprisingly for me, as for a job, I used to look for stability, a monotonous, deadly routine. If you’re new here, robot days means corporate structures, societal structures, office days, and depending on the context, it might simply mean walls and barriers, outdated, limiting structures of this world or society.
I learned 3 jobs within 4 weeks. I had to stand up, but it didn’t feel this way. It felt so normal and wonderful. Daily routine: got to the office by 7:30 or 7:45am and home by 6-7pm. Watched a crime series for 1–3 parts and fell asleep just to repeat it the next day and the next day and the next day. Yes, it’s a pleasure to avoid yourself… unfortunately. 🙂 It’s not living, it’s doing life, however, if the job is rewarding it can be living to a degree.
I realised with this work assignment that I had always thought that something might be missing; I’m not enough, so I never aimed to where I was simply placed this time. And it was wonderful. It all made sense why I was never happy with almost all the previous jobs I had had.
That goes to relationships, but in this case, it goes to a job, really.
“One day, you’ll realise why it never worked out with anyone else — it’s because it was always meant to work out with this one.”
On my day off, I was in the CBD hunting down the hat I needed for the fashion show. I was squatting in the pathway, hiding away from the rain, when my team members that had led for only 3 days noticed me there… We had a group hug… Humbled, I thought, I actually can do this reality; maybe it all has changed while I’ve been ’away’! Still humbled. Still amazed.
The general enthusiasm and willingness in the people’s eyes to get the help delivered timely to the ones in need despite these long days was heartwarming. With this work assignment …there were so many first-times, experiences again that I’ve never had before. Like leadership, kindness, attentiveness, and caring—I have no experience like that apart from one job I did in NT for the family company; their appreciation there was delivered through actions but wasn’t really verbalised. This time it was, and it was very special. Special leaders create special organizations.
What if you let go of all the structures (read walls, assumptions, expectations, separations, judgements, and rejections) you’ve built around you? What would that create for your life and living?
Once you’re willing to get it wrong, you are going to receive loads more of everything.
Perfection and rightness keep you trapped, locked away from so much that there is: choices and possibilities. You keep waiting for the right time or opportunity or getting ready or completing the endless list of things you have to do in order to step into your dream or greatness or fulfilment.
What if you let go of all the structures (read walls) you’ve built around you? What would that create for your life and living?
I love too many things and seemingly contradicting things. How wrong is that?
I am willing to be…
Wrong 😑😊 I am.
I’m rather wrong and happy 😊
And you…
Are you willing to be wrong or to get it wrong?
Or do you choose to be right rather than happy?
And what Ifff there’s no right or wrong? What if that’s just the judgement of someone at the point of time? People constantly change their judgement of you, so if you try to get it right by someone else’s judgement …can you create anything beyond, anything greater?
Once you’re willing to get it wrong or getting judged…you are willing to receive all other things too!☺️ I mean all other nice, awesome things, because your overall willingness to receive has increased.
I was flicking through the names of the places, countries, and cities that people are reading this website from. I love doing it sometimes, it makes my mind wander and wanting to visit.
The website has been red in 185 locations all around the world. There are a few new countries I haven’t seen here before, like Greece, China, and Malaysia. So far, the US is dominating, followed by Australia, Brisbane, my love, of course! Sydney and Melbourne steadily growing and many other lovely places in Australia I get inspired to visit. Maybe it’s you inspiring me, it could be!
Today there was a place called Olive Branch in the list. How pretty is that name! I looked up the map, and apparently, it’s a place in Mississippi, in the US.
Thank you for being here, and there wherever you are reading it from! 💚 Have a magical week ahead!
