Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! You missed out, boys and girls! I went to the Addison Rae concert yesterday. The whole concert the performers were in underwear. I guess I missed the memo that concert goers do not need anything else than that either. Lol True story!
Awesome performance, sensual dance, lighting, and singing, of course. I only knew 3 songs before buying the tickets; that is not something I do normally, but I didn’t have to disappoint.
From the first song the whole crowd sang along; they knew all the song words.
Loved the venue, the Fortitude Music Hall; the first time I was there, it was newly renovated. I went to see the Queensland Music Awards in 2020.
I realised I am not a fan of female artists so much when my friend once introduced me to her female artists’ music while we were driving. I couldn’t wrap my mind around it. Why would anyone have a file with female-only artists, as music is music, and it doesn’t matter who does it? I also realised I like female artists who do not do the proving ‘I am a woman’; they just are it.
How about you? Are you trying to prove something you already are? Save the energy; celebrate you! Notice where in your life you are doing it.
I now actually have an absolute favourite female artist: the Australian singer Ngaiire. I didn’t want to leave when the concert was over. It’s about the voice most part but there’s a lot more into her. Before that, it was Lauren Hill and Janet Jackson; I have been lucky to see both.
Let’s talk about love.
What does love look like in your mind? It’s not the mind thing but for the sake of expressing the thought.
I had a discussion with my friend the other day. She has 2 teenage boys with her high school sweetheart that she broke up with 2 years ago. They had created a sweet family, and that’s how far it went; it could go further, but it didn’t.
She said the things I’ve thought as well, but I’ve never heard anyone else putting it this way without going into ‘very spiritual terminology’.
I’d like that he has his Thing, I have my Thing we contribute to each other’s things where we can, and it might bring to life that Our thing (could be something common to both of your things) which contributes to the greater good, to more people. It might not be obvious what it is; it will reveal itself in time.
It’s the kind of love where you do not feel like you constantly want to save or help someone (based on neediness), but it’s the next level where you actually want to create and co-create (life & living). You imagine the fun and satisfaction it brings to both and that co-creation being a contribution for many, many others.
However, possibilities are endless; it might be something completely different for you. What else is possible that we haven’t considered possible here?
Sounds fun, co- creation, like a divine union. Is that possible?
What is your love you’re asking for?
I heard a really interesting thing the other day, and I feel like it has truth in it. People who have abandonment issues (very many do) at the beginning would ideally do everything together, even work together if possible; that’s how they eventually gain confidence for autonomy. That creates a new baseline energetically, a trusting one, and it’s not about the control. Just think about it if it’s true to you.
What are you choosing against you that if you didn’t, could allow the change you’ve been asking for? Everything doesn’t allow that daui.
From my heart to yours.
