Life, Laughter & Strawberry Glasses

Photo: Birthday in the photo booth. Too bad you can’t see the one with the Minnie hat; maybe you will. I haven’t decided yet. Dr Terreping with strawberry glasses. Lol Perhaps I should start writing comic books? Humour heals the world too. I can be too cheeky; I’m not sure if it fits into this reality.

Many asked what I did for my birthday. My birthday was a little bittersweet; my very last grandparent left this world 4 days earlier. I know he is happy because he can get to Grandma now, and honestly despite everything, all they ever cared about was each other in this world.

What did I do: I said nothing special; I spent it in my favourite country, in my favourite city, in my favourite cafĂ©, restaurant, and park. I did take silly photos in the photo booth and went to the ‘Friend’s Experience’ that is in Brisbane atm, sitting in Chandler’s chair and all of their couches. There was an interesting customer service representative who lectured us about our manners before we entered the set. How to say please (to her) 🙂 if we wanted a photo taken and not to jump on the couch as it might get broken… I do not know how old she thought we were, but I thought, ‘Sure, ma’am, I’m not 4 anymore.’ I am 5. (I mean…) Anyway I hope you’ll meet her!:)

It’s good getting older, as it feels like getting closer…to something; let’s call it ‘home’. On the other hand, I noticed halfway through the year that I prefer not to switch on the light in the bathroom (I generally do not enjoy bright lights in the room but that’s part of the truth:)) when doing my night-time face care, :).   Two years living on the beach has done something, good I didn’t stay longer. I know there is a makeup/cover-up. I promised a long time ago to start using it daily; it was 11 years ago. Is it time now?

I’m waiting for my new perfume to come from the mail today; I chose it when I was down/sick for 7 days, saw the description and the name, and I was sold. I haven’t been that excited for a long time.   Surely, it’s only sold in the US, so there’s a wait time. I have been looking for the perfume of my life. I’m sure it exists; I saw the smell in my dreams, :).

I am writing it here before I’ll get it in case, I’ll be disappointed.:)

What about your age, do you make it significant? Look at the people who constantly talk about their age and its consequences; is it helping?

Although I can understand if you’re feeling happy or proud that you have made it this far – you definitely should be! I SEE YOU!

I used to say everything is too late in my life (started saying it probably in my early 20s :)), and what is too late? Usually, it’s just later than others got their stuff, house, car, and boyfriend; comparison is the death of creation. For me, everything was later than it was for others (except awareness that I didn’t recognise at the time), but you know it also was way better. It was the difference in Quality. So, if you think you’re behind, think it’s all still ahead of you! đꙂ

It’s often not about what people have but how they got it. If it was gained through deception, lies, cheating, or by stepping over or neglecting others and, more importantly, pushing aside who they really are, the sense of achievement isn’t going to last. Some are even doing relationships that way.

That’s what sets creators apart now: some are getting their stuff through alignment to their inner self that leads to happiness. Or if you follow the herd to get where you want to get, you’ll still get what you were aiming for, but it doesn’t make you happy. Proud isn’t happy. That reminds me these proud parents posting their kids’ student reports to Facebook for everything they achieve, with a photo of a child who most often is not actually smiling.

I am happy with what I’ve chosen it wasn’t comfortable but it’s been full of creation and I know 20 years warming the same corporate chair would be brain death/drain my soul. If you deny yourself in the process, the end result isn’t going to satisfy. If you’re getting sick often on your job, pay attention. Maybe the job doesn’t have to change, but your own thought about it does, and of course sometimes the job has to change.

I feel I am ready. For what? For that next, I almost carefully hope it’s a little bit boring but still inspiring! I did work for QLD GOV disaster recovery project last year, and it opened so much in many ways for me – possibilities I wasn’t aware of. There are aligned opportunities and jobs out there. What would be better than a job where all parts of you can come together? Where you utilise yourself for the benefit of many.   What else is possible I haven’t even considered?!

Also, if you’re good at something as many of you are, do not make it you. You still are many things, we all are and that’s the beauty of it.

It feels like something with the writing has to change; the format of the information gets spread. What is possible with it?

At the moment I am doing bars at the local markets on Thursdays in SC, which is going to last as long as I am in SC; you’re welcome to pop by if you’re up for it. Will post about it on social media next week.   I do not see myself doing it in the further future, unless it’s required or included into my other offers.

I will have friends coming by tomorrow, so I’m off to shopping and prepping some delish snacks now.

Thank you for you, and celebrate emotions, all of them, as when we cross to the other side, there are no emotions. There is the peace & love for all maybe you’ve been looking for so long, but there are No emotions. I realised, listening to Charlie, when he makes us step into our emotions – that we’re here to experience these, to learn from these and to appreciate these, not to resist or deny. But who thought us that?

Happiest Fryey to you & celebrate; it’s been a long ride for you too. Everything might feel different; nothing’s been lost, just some parts of you have transformed towards the direction you were initially aiming to go (you chose a long time ago). You still love the things you do the people you do, nothing’s wrong it just feels different, explore that…
