Dark side of the Moon

Interesting info about Dark side of the Moon, I didn’t know it when titled the post: The phrase is also well-known due to its cultural significance, notably from Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon, where it metaphorically explores themes like mental health, isolation, and the human condition.

About a month and a half ago I wrote that, little that I knew it symbolised energies and what was going to come.

I was waiting for a friend coming from a barbershop when I saw a girl asking for a cigarette from an elderly woman smoking across the street.

She had the cigarette and then started crying. I felt so much for her, I collected myself a little to go and consulate her. I am hesitant since visiting Miami many years ago, where my goodwill was thrown into my face by a likely drug addict.

She was just so overly sad…

We had a little chat; she was 17. She was kicked out of her home and got into a fight with her unreliable boyfriend; she obviously had enough for that day. She said she could stay at her friend’s house, but their parents are strict, which is fair by her own words. It seems she recognised she was a rebel; she was tough you could tell; she just had a moment. One other lady approached her to offer her a ride if she had to get somewhere far. I didn’t say much, as I felt she didn’t need another mother; she just needed to see if anyone cared.

She symbolised so much the energies that had been up for a while—rebellious, tough, and sad at the same time.

And then: Wow, that’s another level. It happened three weeks ago.

I started to cry at the hairdresser’s. In front of everyone in the salon, tears were flowing down my cheeks; I just couldn’t stop myself, covered my face with my hands. I was thinking, ‘Gosh, like a drama queen’.

It was the release of tension that had been going on. My hairdresser of 6 years, who knows me pretty well, was surprised but not really after hearing what had happened.

Unfortunately, this time ‘the first time’ that you wouldn’t rather experience in your life.

Emotional abuse that started to lead towards physical abuse that led me to move out of my home to stay safe. “I now understand what it’s like to hold your finger on the phone dial, ready to call the police when stepping into your house.”

That person obviously has enormous mental issues that I wasn’t aware of… These days you do not know if anyone has mental illness, as they are undiagnosed, they do not talk about it, or they do not take their medication.

I’d like to say also this: please be careful with experimenting with everything that is ‘allowed’ now, the plants and other things. You have to have some kind of awareness before you do. Your body isn’t a bin. If you know you are sensitive, just rather not experiment. Our minds and bodies are meant to experience magic, but it’s possible you get that from within, without adding substances to get there. Please be mindful!

I was completely clueless what to do in this situation and asked advice in the Facebook group. There were so many responses (that made me realise how many people have experienced it) and helpful advice that I took, and a couple of people even asked if I had anywhere to go. I took their advice, not going to details because of obvious reasons, and was humbled to tears by people’s kindness towards a complete stranger.

I know times have been very intense for many people, and if it is the same for you, you know that too shall pass; however, do what you have to get out of the bad environment or away from toxic people. See. Meeting a lot of great people, you have to be ready for meeting this kinds too…because consciousness includes everything and excludes nothing.

I do not want to unpack it really, not now anyway, but if you ever experience anything like that, all I can say is stay true to your core and do not react or even respond, as it only feeds their insanity even if you try to help them. Leave right away.

I was physically and mentally so exhausted that I collapsed once I got to safety. However, all that intense mental abuse pushed me very strongly to connect to presence on another level. I seriously didn’t think I could smile again, but there were moments when I did, and I appreciated these in a major way, and I documented these moments. One day I asked, ‘Universe, show me something beautiful today.’ The morning began with a takeaway coffee, and to my surprise, it had a heart on top—a rare sight for a takeaway! I loved it so much.”

In the afternoon I went to shop for some scent sticks at the cigarette store, yes they sell them there, the tension of previous weeks had drained me to the degree that I was still numb; I barely spoke on those days. Then an elderly lady touched the edge of my skirt and remarked, ‘I love your skirt. I felt blessed, as I felt so lost on that day. Interestingly, for me, often the kindness comes from complete strangers.

Like yesterday, a man on the walkway approached and said, ‘You have such a lovely smile, I want to give you these flowers.’ I was thinking, was I really smiling, perhaps I did…I love this place!💚

If you have especially heavy moments to survive, take all opportunities to get out to different environments to show yourself that there is beauty out there that reminds you you have it in you, and that too is part of your life, not only that horrifying life situation. And enjoy these moments fully! That’s a huge practice of being present, and it’s rewarding; things can start to change the direction from that one little smile. A smile that is for you and not necessarily for anyone else.

I just got news: after 3 weeks that I spent in the city, I can eventually take my Cosmo Kiss and go back home! Brisbane has inspired me, as it always does, and I have been posting here more often than on the coast. It’s pretty much like I’m tapping into some other people’s energies here; perhaps it’s you, where the ideas are coming from? Grateful!

I feel like I want to lie down in the sticky, pink sugar cotton and stay there, and I do not know what that means 🙂 However, I bought myself a new perfume, as I do sometimes when having a new start.

What if you ask: Universe, show me something beautiful today! ! ✨
